Acquire a Bicycle in Fire Red!
If you’re looking to get a Bicycle in the game Fire Red, you’re in for a fun and efficient mode of transportation that will help you explore the vast world of Kanto. The Bicycle can be obtained in Cerulean City, but before you can acquire it, you’ll need to accomplish a few tasks. Firstly, you must defeat the Nugget Bridge challenge, where you’ll encounter five consecutive trainers. Once you conquer them, you’ll be rewarded with a Nugget. Remember to keep it in your inventory as it will come in handy for the next step.
Confront Team Rocket, earn Silph Scope
Your next task on the quest for the Bicycle is to travel to the infamous Team Rocket’s hideout in the city of Cerulean. Located to the north of the Nugget Bridge, enter the building and confront the group’s members. You’ll come across numerous battles against Team Rocket grunts and their leader, Giovanni. After defeating Giovanni, he will flee, leaving an unused Silph Scope behind.
Ghostly Pokémon and prized Bicycle reward
Now that you have the Silph Scope in hand, make your way to Lavender Town. Here, you’ll encounter restless spirits in the Pokémon Tower, which blocks your path to the prized Bicycle. Navigate through the tower by battling various ghostly Pokémon and reaching the top floor. As you progress, you’ll receive the Poké Flute from Mr. Fuji, a kind-hearted man you’ll meet along the way. Use the Poké Flute to awaken and defeat the restless ghostly spirit of Marowak. Once you’ve accomplished this, return to Mr. Fuji, who will reward you with the Bicycle voucher.
Cerulean City: Bicycle Voucher Triumph
Finally, with the Bicycle voucher in hand, return to Cerulean City and head to the Bicycle Shop. The shop is located just to the right of the Pokémon Center. Hand over the voucher to the shopkeeper, who will happily exchange it for the coveted Bicycle. Congratulations! You now have your very own Bicycle, which will not only make your journey faster but also open up new areas to explore throughout the game.
